This bowl was made to commission; the input was: Make a bowl for someone who adores Alice in Wonderland and is a great fan of the fifties era too.
So a bowl in fifties green with the white rabbit, tea-party and playing cards it became. The teacups and the lid of the teapot are loose, removable. The watch is the interior taken from an old ladies watch.
The most beautiful story bowl ever! What a lucky person to get this! Are you going to use that green colour more often? I really like the grass effect it has :)
Thanks :) I loved making it too. I might make more green bowls, I made light blue ones before. But don't know yet, on commission anything, well almost anything, is possible.
Since I was a little girl I've been creating. My dad's orchard was an awesome playground. Nature and it's little and big surprises still inspire me most. I love to make things which are whimsical, cute and which make you smile. I've always worked on a small scale, give my an A0 size paper and I will start scribbling in the corner.
